absence of years Mr John Ross aged Cal gary Alberta was recently re united with his brother William Ross 83 and his sis lers Mrs Charles Willis SO years of age Aurora and Mrs Charles Sturdy Keswick They were the children of Phillip Ross and were raised on farm on the concession line later owned by the late Alfred Bay tea and now the Chandler home When Ross left Kinghorn in he had the intention of remaining in the west for so long without making a visit to these parts He was a carpenter by trade and work was plentiful and besides he found Calgary a fine place for a home And friends His wife died and a year and a half ago he remarried When it recently became urgent for her to undergo an operation they came to Chicago where her daughter lives When she was well enough to leave Mr Ross came on to King to stay with his brother to say he noted many changes in the district and be cause so many of his friends of former days had passed away his visit was not as interesting as it would have been a few years ago He also found that his nephew Hugh Ross had torn down the old house and moved it into King City where it is now the fine home of Mr J Grew The reunion with his brother and sisters
