Winter 2014 â€" December 1, 2013 Spring/Summer 2014 â€" April 1,2014 “£351 *1 ON THE COVER Long Standing Tradition of Friendship Continues On July 31,2013, Lambton District WI, along with members from other Ontario Branches, hosted 22 members ofthe Michigan Association of Family & Community Education (MAFCE) for an International Exchange Day. This year’s exchange a which dates back to the 1930’s a saw members of MAFCE traveling to Ontario for a day organized by a committee ofthe Lambton District. The event began at Seaway Kiwanis Pavilion in Sarnia where coffee and treats were enjoyed while news and information were exchanged. Roll Call was the strangest thing you have ever used a corn broom for. Answers included chasing bats, a broom dance, cleaning out grain wagons, chasing the dog, using the straw fortoothpicks or to check ifthe cake was done.
