Community members have been attending workshops and have contributed many hours of work toward the shipment planned for fall. Pictured with the group are workshop leaders in front. From Lâ€"R Ann Stloys (small dresses), Ruth Daw (knitted wash cloths) and Marilyn Pottruff (knitted comfort bears). Hawkestone WI The women of Hawkestone WI (Simcoe Area) are making bags for women’s shelters in Orillia. Each bag includes items like pyjamas, socks, slippers, underwear, hair clips, toothpaste, crayons, a colouring book, a stuffed toy and more. The bags are made out of a nice coloured material and are about half the size of a pillow case. No one else in the area does this and the feedback from the shelter has been wonderful â€" the recipients are very happy they get to take the bags with them when they are ready to move on. Victoria ll WI Members of Victoria || WI (Kingston Area) made a donation to the Digital Diagnostic Imaging Campaign at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital. The money was raised bythe 12 Members who gave $1 a week for 30 weeks beginning last fall.
