The report went on to say it was hoped the ï¬nal presentation would be made by the annual Provinâ€" cial Board meeting in November next. It will re- quire some time after this before the Handbook will be available. The Byâ€"laws will then come into effect. Further to the report: Resulting from the new Constitution which was passed at the annual meeting, last November, good progress is being made. Sections were removed from the Guelph and Central Areas and a new area in Bruce and Grey counties was :formed. Other changes are being made. We take pride in the fact that mem- bers have recognized these as forward moves, the report concluded, and in spite of having to re- organize their thinking and planning, even to making some sacriï¬ces for the good of the whole, have accepted the recommendations of the Pro- vincial Board and taken steps to implement them in the best possible mannEr. Mrs. Gordon McPhatter conducted the discus- sion of the By-laws which took two days of the session to complete. Several recommendations were made and these will be reported back to the com- mittee. In connection with Life Membership. the Board decided that the By-law governing Life Member ship would go into effect as of May 51h, 1959.
