L in welcoming the thirtyâ€"one members ‘of the Board to the annual meeting. had a spectal welcome for sixteen new members attending the meeting for the first time. Mrs. Haggerty said it reminded her of the first time she attended the board meeting and thought she was the only one there who knew nothing. Completing her last term as president, Mrs. Haggerty in her report expressed deep gratitude for the loyalty and co-operatien of the board members, conveners of standing com- mittees and all F.W.I.O. personnel during her three- year term. and asked for the same co-operation and loyalty for the new incoming president. Mrs. Haggerty said. “I am not giving up my office in a sad note for I have enjoyed great happy? ness and can be very glad this experience came my way." She expressed thanks to all members of the Women's Institutes who had been so kind and thoughtful during her illness and especially at the time when she was unable to attend the A.C.W.W. Conference in Edinburgh. Especially to Mrs. George Ash.
