Cups and Crests The latest sample of a cup and saucer hearâ€" ing the Women's Institute crest was on display. Of good quality China, it will sell for $5.00. The Board Members approved this design and it will he the official Ontario Women's Institute cup and saucer. Miss McKercher reported that she had arâ€" ranged for the printing of larger sized Wom- en’s Institute crests which would be available to branches at a nominal cost. Requests are often received for larger crests for use on Women‘s Institute displays. etc. The sizes are 6x9 inches, 12x18 and 18x27. Entertainment A delightful evening was enjoyed “hen the Board Members were entertained by the On- tario Department of Agriculture at a dinner. The newly appointed Minister of Agriculture, The Honourable William A. Stewart was chair- man. and members appreciated the opportunity to meet him and Mrs. Stewart. Outlining the many ways in which the Women’s Institutes have improved farm life in the way of health education and safety. Mr. Stewart commended the members for their assistance to the Home Economists who work under his Department. Entertainment was provided by two of Guelph's talented singers, Mrs. Barbara Wolfond and Mr. Adam Gaw. Rev. W. A. Young led a sing«song and Mrs. Ralph Kidd was accom- panist. Mrs. Lymburncr expressed appreciaâ€" tion to Mr. Stewart for this most enjoyable evening.
