CENTENNIAL PROJECTS Restoration of the Adelaide HoodleSS Home- stead is to be completed as part of F.W.I.C.‘s contribution to Canada's Centenary, and plans to insure its future maintenance costs will need consideration. The “Canadian Mosaic" is progressing and a grant will be requested from the Centennial Commission to assist in research and compiling and to cover costs of printing, publishing and sales promotion. This is to be a collection of ten books, one from each Province, which will portray the history, crafts and cultures of each Provincial Unit. A gift to the Fathers of Confederation Mem- orial Building in Charlottetown will consist of eleven chairs with needlepoint panels on the back, bearing either the coats of arms of the Provinces and of Canada, or the floral emblems There will be one chair from each Province and one from F.W.I.C. The “Make Canada Lovelier" project is under way in all Provinces with a variety of plans which include Scholarships, Safe Living projects, Beautification, Clean-up campaigns and Physical Fitness classes.
