There seems to be a lagging interâ€" est in sewing courses except millinery. Board members felt it was profitable to them to get to know their District officers and their Home Economist. The Women's Institute Story: Mrs, John Charlton presented the report of Mrs. M. Purdv on “Updating the Women‘s Institute Storji.” Readers will observe the title change from “50 Years of Achievement." A subâ€" title. “From Beginning to Diamond Jubilee" has been suggested. Twecdsmuir History Competitions: Twecds- muir History Competitions were discussed and it was pointed out that all competitions must go through the Branch. District, and Area levels. with the winning entry forwarded to F.W.I.O. There will be no exceptions to this rule. The executive was given power to choose judges for the provincial Tweedsmuir History Competitions.
