Zoeller was named leader of the Ontario delegation and in committee with Miss Helen McKercher and Mrs. William G. Miller will consider the On- tario delegates regionally if possible. Public Relations Report The Annual Public Relations Report and a summation of Women’s Institute activities in the province was presented by Mrs. Clarence Diamond. From the 14 Areas in Ontario the report showed that a total of $270,922.66 was spent on activities of the Women‘s Institutes to educate and develop leadership. improve con- ditions for homemakers and citizens not only in the immediate communities but through the Associated Country Women of the World. peo- ple in the developing countries. Included in the more than $21.00000 given for Women‘s Institute projects was $11,359.00 for the current project of F.W.I.0. to raise $50,000.00 for increased facilities and expan- sion at Macdonald Institute, University of Guelph. This is a 75th Anniversary project of Women’s Institutes in Ontario to be completed in 1972. Approximately $18,000 is needed. the only project of F.W.I.O. at this time. and Branches are urged to do their utmost to reach this goal by 1972.
