MRS. MARY DAWSON Mrs. Marv Dawson, the librarian in charge ol‘ the loan library over the past thirty years. died on August [or l97o after a lengthv illness. Her assistance to Women’s Institute members and the Home Economics stafl‘ members was always val- ued. and in her quiet and ellicient way certainI} built up the loan library to a valuable resource centre. A native ol‘ Duï¬'erin County. she continued her schooling graduating from Maedonald Institute and took her dietetic training at Wellcslcv hospital. Mrs. Dawson worked as a Home Economist for a short pe- riod. in the counties of Frontenac, Northumbcrland. Prince Edward. Hastings. Lennox and Addington be» fore assuming duties in the Loan Library.
