Family Relationships: Roll Calls: Remember when children brought ap- pics to the teacher instead of driving them bananas. Family relationship is gaining in importanceâ€"perâ€" haps the family will become the focal point in our lives again. All aspects of Health and Safety: Health and safety were on the agenda apparently at many meetings. Speakers such as doctors. nurses. dentists, St John‘s Ambulance, OPP olficers, firemen. electricians, farm safety members. Talks on drug ad- diction. safe driving habits, food poisoning. home haz- ards. Seat belts were discussed and the growing aware- ness of the dangers of smoking. Topics to think about: Property laws and inheritance laws as they pertain to the wife and family. The new laws on immigration will change the Ca- nadian immigration policy. Information about the re- vised laws may be obtained from the Department of Manpower and Immigration. Information Division. Ottawa. Ontario. EDUCATION AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES Mrs. Russel Harrison Southwestern missed the magic number by one branch; Kingston. Eastern. Hamilton and Northern had two delinquent branches and Simcoe were four short. Congratulations to Central. Cochrane-Temis- kaming, Grey Bruce. Guelph. London and Trent Val- ley for their 100% goal.
