JUNIOR WOMEN’S INSTITUTES Mrs. James Thompson Mrs. Thompson presented the report on behalf of the J.W.I.O. and Linda Tottenham who was tlnable to mend due to illness. The J.W.I.O. is off to a growing start with 3 new liranches since the ï¬rst of the new year. The 13 branches have a membership ot‘ approximately 215. The branches are Hastings, Sparkling Waters .Washngo). Niagara District. Wainfleel, Peel. Nos-val. um Scott (Guelph). Walters Falls..North-Grey. How- k. Lucknow. St. Thomas and Brantford. The Snelgrove Community centre was the location or the Spring Board meeting on the 81b of April. The i members and guests were soon divided into 2 otlps for a brainstorming session to discover ideas tr improving their spring and fall meetings. The local rJnChBS will be receiving questionnaires for their cats. Watch for changes and the implementation of it new ideas. Mrs. Joyce Beaten. Publisher. of Milton. was the test speaker. Her newspaper. “Early Canadian Life." intains the grass roots history of Canada and is full informative ideas. Mrs. Beaton says she is a liber- ed woman and explained how she climbed to crea- .e fulï¬llment.
