ANNUAL FALL CONFERENCE This year it was decided to try a two day fall conference instead of a Spring and Fall meeting. The Fall Conference was held in Snclgrove at the Snelgrovc Community Centre north of Brampton. Mrs. Margaret Minor. Provincial President introduced Mrs. Janet Fraser from the Home Economics Branch. Toronto who spoke on Children and Safety in clothing and toys. The main concern was the t'lainability factor in clothes and that it affects the very young and the very old mainly. since they are usually less able to help themselves in the event of tire. Mrs. Fraser touched on the laws pertaining to tlamability. example Hazardous Product Act 1969. As for children's toys it is important to select the right toy for the right child.
