The Director Writes. . . As I sit at my table, looking out to the Eastern Gap of Toronto harbour, I notice the almost feverish activity of people on the water as the Labour Day weekend comes to an end. There are long lineups for the ferries to the islands and the boats crisscross the harbour. just napping long enough for the embarking and disembarkâ€" :ng passengers. Several ocean-going vessels are in port, .4 well as some lakers. There seem to be more birds bout and some flocks are beginning to marshal] for .neir trip south. There is the realization that this is the .31 week of summer and fall will begin on September lid. Area convention time will soon be upon us. I plan to attend at least nine of the fourteen. September and October are usually beautiful months to travel to the different parts of Ontario. Each year I never cease to be amazed at the size of the province and the beauty of the fall colorings. I look forward to meeting many of you at the conventions. COURSE ATTENDANCE We are offering some new courses for the coming year. Pleaso do make an effort to pass on the informa- tion to anyone whom you feel would be interested or would benefit from taking one or more. Above all, please let young married people know about our adult courses. In January. we will be asking participants at some of our adult courses to vote for topics we propose offering to you in 1982.
