The following report follows the OFA‘s annual meeting. In order to streamline the reporting procedures. it was recommended that all county federations and the provinv cial federation have a common fiscal year, using the new data system that has been installed at the OFA offices. County federations met with local municipal councils. The finding was that most municipal councils near large centres are represented by a ma- jority of urban people. The result is that many such councils are critical of agricultural policies. Because agri- culture is so diversified and complex, it is hard for the OFA to present just one issue to government. On the other hand, several issues at a time tend to get bogged down.
