To that end, staff here at the Guelph Agriculture Centre are planning ways ,0 integrate French language components into currem programs, activities and resources of the Ru“; Organizations and Services Branch. This is not an easy job. Although we welcome inler. action with French-speaking clients, we aren't exacm sure what their needs and interests are. As a result, r; want to hear from them and get their reaction to \va we are trying to accomplish. In this issue of Home & Country, I am includw; material which has been translated into French. Nan Ross’ article on needs assessment appears in Engh :. on page six and in French on page seven. As 1‘!“- progresses, there will be other French language mi 1 ~ in the magazine My plan, at the moment, is to trarhl Hg articles of a leadership development nature since th ,. are most likely to be of interest to potential Fren st. speaking readers. However, I am interested in heat from French-speaking readers/rural women’s groir -_ As I have already said, I am not sure what their m it. and interests are. if you are aware of a French-speaking group ~r potential reader, please pass along a copy ol‘ rut: magazine and solicit some feedback. so that magazine can be used to its potential for both Eng‘ «ll and Frenchâ€"speaking readers.
