Welcome to the Family! The Newest Women’s Institute Branch launches in Guelph We are excited to welcome the Nouveau WI (Wellington Halton District) to FWIO! This enthusiastic new Branch started in November and has already hosted their first ROSE Session as an introduction to the community! An Evening of Women's Leadership featured dynamic young women leaders hailing from diverse backgrounds such as the non-profit sector, the corporate world, and government speaking about how they achieve success and challenges they face. A number of WI Members were also there to help support this new Branch. The Nouveau WI believes it is vital for women to connect with one another, share experiences, learn from one another and grow. They also believe that they should have fun while doing it. They will be meeting regularly in the City of Guelph and are looking forward to meeting other WI Members. All of the groups founding Members agree that being part of an organization with as much history as Women’s Institutes is the best!
