In the previous edition of the we featured an article noting Joan Playle’s Provincial Life Membership. An accomplishment for such a deserving woman should certainly be recognized. As this was a surprise, we kept this article out of the newsletter while Joan was performing her usual proof-reading duties. Despite our best efforts to establish a foolproof newsletter process, there were some errors in the story and for this we extend our sincere apologies to Joan and the West End WI who worked hard to ensure this dedication took place.
