FWIO’s ROSE Program was thrilled :3 i‘ to be a part of one of Canada's ' premiere farm events â€" Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show. This spectacular three-day event REALLY is where farmers meet to see the latest technology, gather ideas on machinery, participate in a variety of demos and much more! w. i a.“ A elation-A, A In 2006 ROSE coâ€"sponsored the first ever Women in A9 area at the show featuring exhibits and showcases especially for women! Tai Chi, fall gardening, breast cancer, smoking cessation, the importance of wearing a properfitting bra, ovarian cancer, work life balance, asthma and fitness for women were all ROSE Sessions that educated and entertained women (and some men!). Displaying their Tweedsmuir books, quilt pattern books, photos and other great information on Women’s Institute, Braemar WI volunteers took full advantage of this amazing opportunity to promote their Branch and the work of WI. Other volunteers traveled a great distance to support the Women in Ag expo. Thank you to the Members of Braemar WI and to all volunteers . for helping make this event a ;_ huge success!
