Our FWIO ROSES )2 â€" a message from the ROSE Coordinator "Keeping At the ROSE Forum last summer we asked for topics for the upcoming Home 84 Country articles. One comment was "There is too much about ROSE and not enough emphasis on WIâ€. I do hope that by now, all members realize that "ROSE" is just another name for “Educationâ€, and that education of women for the betterment of their families and communities was the reason that WI was started. The change is that we now have our partners and their material for our programs. It should not be forgotten that there are a wealth of program ideas using our ROSE partners who are always willing to assist small and large groups. It is important that we continue to use ese groups for Community Health ys, monthly meetings, District Annuals and Area conventions, It is by partnering with these organizations that we are able to apply for the much sought after grants to continue our programs. As ROSE coordinator it is my job to offer ideas for Branch, District and Area programming. In this issue, you will ï¬nd a variety of ROSE Programming ideas. They can be identiï¬ed by the light bulb graphic and title“Good Ideaâ€. / Good (ideal Please keep this issue safe and use the ideas when you plan your programs next spring. Of course, you can get even more ideas on the website at www.fwio.on.ca. Please forward your tips, comments or questions to roseprogram@fwio.on.ca.
