.W @flW The Buzz As 2004 draws to an end, 1 would like to take the opportunity to reflect on hat has happened over the past . It has been an incredible year for the ROSE Program and Women's Institute - this year over 1000 Women’s Institute members were trained and updated on the ROSE Program, either at the Provincial “ROSES are Blooming" Forum or at Area Officer Training and ROSE Program Workshops. 1am thrilled with the turnout from our membership .1 .h ‘ Tight"? 4; ‘U The “ROSES are Blooming" Forum was truly a wonderful experience for all who attended. We all left feeling excited about the new opportunities brought before us. During the two» day event we were entertained by guest speakers Dr, Linda Ambrose, Dr, Beverly Leipert, held a Partner Awards ceremony, attended several workshops and visited the information expo, It is our hope that the Forum provided an Opportunity for Partners and members to network and share information. I am pleased to report that 96% of the delegates attending rated the Forum with an excellent overall rating Thank you to all who attended. Just recently, I had the opportunity to attend a ROSE Session hosted by Perth Centre District that was inspired by two delegates after attending the ROSE Forum in Barrie These two ladies were excited to see what the ROSE Program could do for their District and Branches that when they returned home they began to work and put together a ROSE Session of their own‘ And like most things in life â€" hard work pays off! I am sure they were as pleased as I was with the outcomes of that session. It was fabulous â€" attracting over 70 people to attend! Congratulations Perth Centre for a iob well done! « amatemu an.ng Riding on the coattails ofour excitement from the Forum, I continued to travel the province in the Fall for the ROSE & Officer 'I‘raining Workshops visiting the Hamilton.
