Mary was born in Norwich County and lived in Simone until 1545 when she married her husband George. She [oined her first Women '5 Institute Branch in 1939 at the age of 18. She has held numerous positions at various levels at the organization, including Branch Secretary and President. District Director and Provincial Board Director. in 1573, Mary was honoured with a Life Membership.
