The glasses will be fitted to indIVIduals by a group of eye doctors 90th to these countries. Grand Bend WI, Huron South Verna Lovie, Loreen Gill and other members of the Grand Bend Women's Institute are well known tor their colourful display they create at the local Farmers' Market each fall. The display is a Thanksgiving Weekend tradition in the Lake Huron Village. Alice Wl, Renlrew North This Branch enjoyed a potluck salad supper followed by guest speaker Shirley Saar, who spoke on the history of Grace Lutheran Church. Branch member Ftuby Kennedy, who had the misfortune of losing belongings in an apartment tire. was given a money donation and an electric kettle. As well, the ladies of Grace Lutheran Church presented Ruby with a beautiful quilt. Forester’s Falls WI, Renlrew North Guest speaker Paula Verekyn from Beachburg spoke to this group about her family. She told about her paternal and maternal grandparents who emigrated from Holland to Canada and some of the hardships they faced in Europe during WW II. Torn Wl, Brute County The Tara Women‘s Institute won 'The Most Attractive Display Award" at the 1115'h Arran< Tara Agricultural Fall Fair in September.
