The public was invited to tour the grounds and gardens at ten different homes, including those of ï¬ve WI members. The group raised $555. Country, Summer 2002 Grand Bend WI, Huron South The Grand Bend WI made money at a local Farmer's Market selling produce and “things†they made from their gardens â€" wreaths. pump- kin filled flower vases, corn swags and other crafts. They also made 100 apple and pumpkin pies. And small jars of pickles and jams sold well. The proceeds will be used for community pro- jects. Some ol the money was used to buy supplies to make “Pocket Pal Dolls" as Valentine Day tray favours at the Children's Hospital.
