Country, Spring 2002 Home E Country Supplemem The FWIO Board decided last November to issue two Home & Country Supplements, along with the four quarterly newsletters. These supple- ments will be printed in February and July, to arrive at the Branch late in that month. The purpose of these supplements is to print refer- ence information (i.e. address lists. calendar of events for the Lee Home, etc.) or timely infor- mation and news from the provincial level (i.e, introduction of provincial projem, competi- tions, etc). This leaves morespace in the regular 16-page newsletter for more Branch, District and Area coverage of activities and events. During her term in office, Hieplah ever- saw a major transition in the relationship between the Department of Agriculture and the Women’s Institute. This major restructuring meant that the WI would be connected to the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food through an arm called the Rural Organizations and Services Branch.
