Parker During the second year of our Institute's operation we were saddened by the death of two of our valued members in the persons of Mrs. Alvin Riley, our first Vice President, and Mrs. Lorene Moffatt. Also during our second year our Institute sponsored a project of donating clocks for the men's and women's wards in the Walkerton Hospital and were duly presented to the Hospital in tne Fall of the same year. We also Sponsored 3 bus trip this year, the date set. being the first Thursday in October and it was approved that we sponsor one yearly hereafter. Places visited W year were the Blue Mountain Pottery, Stuart's Factor] and the Georgian China in Collingwood, and it was here that we purchased the clocks fcr the Hospital in Nalkerton. 0n the way home we stopped for a snort time at Devil's Glen near Stayner and the autumn coloring of the trees on this trip were beautiful. We sponsored a Hallowe'en dance the second year also, to be held in the Masonic Hall in Cargill, and it was approved that we have one eacn year hereafter. At our January meeting, of our second year of operation, and our first Anniversary the nighlite was the candle blowing ceremony by the President on OJI‘ first Birthday cake. At one of the summer meetings this year, we had a social eve and our guests were members from Walkerton, Bradley, Pinkerton and Paisley Institutes with Mrs. T. B. Sharpe of Durham, 041‘ Provincial board member as guest speaker. This meeting was held in the Eden Grove School. EXECUTIVE OFFICERS FOR l903-6h President - Mrs. W.
