On May 28 of this year lgoh, our Institute was hostess for the District Annual of the Bruce East District of Women's Institutes wnicn was held in the Cargill United Church. In July of this year 196b, we lmld a bake sale at Invernuron beacn, and the proceeds from this venture were to go to tha.Walxerton hospital building fund. At our May meeting of this year, which was held in the Eden Grove School, we had as our guests, the members of the Jackson Institute and as part of the program we had our Districn President, Mrs. Geo. Noelfle, speak on Citizenship. Our annual bus trip this year was to St. George, to tour through the birthplace of Adelaide Hoodless, the founder of the Women's Institute organization, then on to Brantford to visit the MoshawK Indian Chapel there, and thence back to Kitcnener for some shopping and supper. At a couple of oar monthly meetings we had a demonstration of how to ice wedding and Birthday cakes by Mrs. Jack Webb of Cargill, and the making of Xmas candles, wreaths and decorations by Mrs. Alexander, (our pre51dent).
