REPORT FROM THE TARTAN COW’ELTTE PHYLLIS METCALF The Tartan Committee have had a very successful year. We are looking for a different place to purchase our glassware. Canadian Art China have been more costly than customers want to pay; so far we haven‘t been successful. Prestoâ€"Crest in Kincardine are supplying us with caps. Tâ€"shirts sweat shirts. The new crests are selling well. Our heavy weight Tartan is sold out. At this time we are unsure whether we will be ordering more or not. This is my last year in the Tartan, I have enjoyed it very much. I wish to thank my alternate, Mary Ziegler - she was always willing to her at the craft sales. I wish her the best w‘t en she takes over in September. This is 30 years for the Tartan, so we will be having a cake at the Rally. Last fall a Curator Workshop was held in Wiarton â€" two Branch Curators and the District Curator attended â€"- a very good day. This will be my last report and after attending the workshop, 1 would recommend that a committee be formed to examine the book and restor it using a proper book and paper so as to retain the information for now and into the future. Thanks to all , Sadie Pilgrim
