He was educated at Glasgow Station and had been a farmer all his working years. He was a member of Glasgow United Church. Mr Hamilton was the son of the late Thomas Hamilton and his wife Bethea Lavallee. His wife. the former Janet Forrest. predeceased him, 11of66 Glasgow Women's Institute Book 4 Celesla Hamilton He is survived by daughters Janet ( Mrs Wilfred Quesnelll. Ottawa; Marion IMrs Carl McWilliams), Toronto; Rosemarie l'Ml'S Paul Latter), Orleans; a brother, Andrew of RR 2, Arnprior; and sisters Catherine «Mrs Carl Harmonl. Scarboro, Maine; Margaret ( Mrs Frank Liscombe), Portland, Maine. He had five grand- children and one great granddaughter A funeral service was held at the Boyce Funeral Home chapel on Monday.
