Photographic Peek into the Past A Herelord bull owned by Thomas Hamilton of Glasgow Station took top sale prlce at the Rentrew County Beet Breeders' Bull Sale in late May 1964. More than 100 people attended the auction sale at the fairgrounds. The 1,070-pound Hereford bull, named Dochert Del Tone Heir. sold for $510 to Dave Mundy of Corp. The bull was born on April 6, 1963. Eighteen ot the 20 bulls at the sale were auctioned. with the average price being $330. Among must were 14 Heretords, two Aberdeen Angus, and two Shorthorns.
