i l â€"For our third meeting of the year. the ladies gathered at the hospital boardroom on Wednes- day evening, March 22. at 8 p.m. Mrs. Brough opened the meeting in the usual matter. Roll call was answered by seventeen members and one visitor. Minutes were read by our secretary. Mrs. John Dance. Seeing as our Treasurer could not attend, our President, Mrs. Brough gave her report. We than discussed the plans to attend the Hospital Auxiliary Spring Conierence in Owen Sound on April 12th. it was decided that Mrs. John Dance and Mrs, Ivan Preston would provide their care. The Hospital Board Annual meeting will be held on June 215i in the hospital board room. Once again it is time to make plans tor the forthcoming Feeder Sale on May 11th. it was decided we'd ask each Women's institute tor a donation of six pies. Mrs. Minnie Hepburn gave us a reading on the first feeder sale. and how it began, It hasn't really changed much, it still takes a lot of hard work and planning. Our facilities have changed a lot over the years, but the hard work and planning is stilt the same. '.:;:adi.e,s Hospital Auxiliary meeting greatly enjoyed it. Mrs. Pearl Walpole gave a reading, titled "The Meanest Mother in the World." Also thanks ladies ior remembering to bring your vases and tin foil pie plates. For next month the Zion and Wolseley ladies are in charge of lunch. The discussion and demon- stratlon included “Clothing Communicatesâ€. "Fitting Your Blouse" and I demonstrated seams tor the blouse including plair, trench. ilat tell and double stitched seams. Facings were also discussed. Group Activity consisted oi tilting the blouses and practicing seams. The next meeting will be ,held on Monday. March 27 at 7 pm. at Mrs. Hepburn's home. The meeting closed with the 4H motto “Learn to do by Doing." The sixth meeting of the AH project "Consider Your Clothes" Was held Monday, March 27 at the home at the tender, Mrs. Hepburn.
