These two projâ€" ects have been on the agenâ€" da of the Ramsay Women’s Institute (WI) for more than three years, so it was quite a feeling of accomplishment for the committee of Marilyn Snedden, Jill Moxley and lean Macpherson, to see so many local people enjoy meeting each other and learning about the history of the area. Cindy Zorgel, Ramsay W1 president, welcomed all, and provided a brief history )f how Lady Tweedsmuir iponsored a contest for the )est WI community history n the late 19405. and the )roject grew until almost :very WI branch across Ianada had a Tweedsmuir iistory. Many people ordered the DVD. With few 'places to hold a public event in Ramsay, everyone was most impressed with the meet‘ ing room at the Gatehouse. Those at the event seemed to have lots of fun judg- ing by the laughter.
