FALL OF 1996 Centennial Year is coming, so we should plan ahead For W.I.'s 100th birthday, we'll plant a flower bed. On our Southline, where should it be? It must be visible for all to see. We'll find a lawn that's neat and nifty The way we did when we celebrated fifty. Gladys won't mind or charge a fee To put a flowerbed beside her tree. What do We do, how do we begin? How about a bed in the shape of our pin? We'll need yellow and lots of blue Daffodils are nice and hyacinths too. We'll each bring a bulb to the October meeting Then we'll have what we are needing. The bed must be dug, should we ask? We know Glady will do the task. Now it's all worked up and marked with flour So the bulbs can be planted in about an hour. Leona worked hard, she was having fun With some help from Mary, the job was done. If you happen by in the early spring You can see what co-operation can bring. Take a look at the pictures taken by Ken Do you think his camera got into the GIN? By Mary Poechman L/t \\
