(3 :i 3 HISTORY OF CHAS. TANNER FARM Chas. Worden Tanner was born March 9. 1877. He was married in 1901 in Hanover to Letitia Blake of the South Line. and he purchased Lot 33 in the 2nd Con. S.D.R. from Margaret Bonniman for $3900 and they started farming. In 1913 he purchased Lots #2 and #3 in the 2nd Con. S.D.R. containing 100 acres from Mr. George Lambertus for $5750. Mr. Lamberus had purchased the farm from Mr. Kunsenhauser in 1887 for $u600. Mr. Tanner carried on mixed farming and for many years piarted 1-H-“ . ibdot about 5 acres of potatoes. There was 12 acres of maple bush and they tapped 500 trees and had an evaporator to boil the ea; 1 syrup.
