At their very early meetings they had papers , addresses and demonstrations on such subjects as "Child Culture", "Sunshine in the Home," “First Aid to the Injured," “Homemaking vs.Eousekeeping", .Thus you see that our pioneer women were not interested as many believe in the "art of cookery“ alone, but in everything pertaining to the improvenent of the home and its surroundings. from a physical intellectual , social and moral standpoint.
