MRS ELLA MCMULLIN She was born in 1898 at Lake-- field, Ont., County of Peterborcugh. Her parents were Michael Towns and Mary Hines. She had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She attended school in Lakefield and Normal School in Peterborough to become a teacher. She came to Amherst Island in 1922 to teach at SS# 1. while teaching there she met and married Edward MCMullin. They were married Oct. 31, 1923, in Kingston They lived in the house where Dave Hieatt presently lives. (North Shore, Lot 13). There they had 5 children 4 of whom are still living, she had 19 grand children. (I am "0t Sure when she joined the W.I., I would assume abOUt 1930-) She greatly enjoyed participating in the w.I.
