SILK LOG CABIN PATTERN QUILT This quilt was made for Vera (Miller) Hogeboom by her mother. The pattern is one that was very popular on Amherst Island. The quilt is made of many small strips of silky material sewen togther around a central pink square. The wide outside border is of a deep rose colour, quilted in narrow strips. This quilt was not put into every day use and Vera has given it to her daughter-in-- law, Liz. (Mrs. Kerry Hogeboom). Dated, 1995
