Thelma's mother, Mrs. Olive Henderson Glenn, used to help Mrs. Strain quilt her quilts and received this one in appreciation. This quilt is made of mixed fabrics including some velvet. Mrs. Strain used to obtain the fabrics from the United States from her daughter, who was the grandmother of Bob Marshall.
