The Back Kitchen History -- continued During the winter of 1967 fire destroyed the building. Many an Islander remember the shock of seeing this historic building and gathering place go up in smoke. In the Spring of 1968, Ross and Tena moved a trailer to this site to live in. This is the same trailer that is there now. Ross and Tena lived there a short time before it was sold and changed hands three times before being purchased by Susan and Garry, the current owners. Tena Filson is now 96 years of age and resides at The Helen Henderson Care Centre in Amherstview. On her wall is a picture that was painted from a photograph of what was Rossena's. $bmitted by Susan Sedore, 1667 \Q
