We celebrate our Birthday, we celebrate the past The W]. was formed to help, objectives designed to last Adelaide Hoodless knew the problems, and set out tofind a way Enlisting women to join her, together they had their say. Resolutions have been presented, on all sorts of issues and needs Some of them firll by the wayside, but many more did succeed As laws have been enacted, to make sure all is well Our accomplishments have grown, t 'would take much time to tell. The leadership courses, were favoured by one and all One held in the Springtime, another in the Fall We learned to sew our garments, or a cozy rug to hook Make lampshades, drapes or even a hat, and tasty things to cook The knowledge that we all gained, and the good friends that were made, Was such a priceless gift just what more can be said, We tend to be most modest and our achievements to hide, When we really should be shouting them loudly to the skies. I 00 years have come and gone, for sure, the die is cast The W]. reigns round the world, we should celebrate the past. But what about the fixture? Will the WI. live and grow? Will many more achievements, be yet for us to know? Can each of us together, recruit another soul? To swell our numbers greatly, and reach yet another goal? There are many more issues, for the W1. to take a stand Let is put our heads and hearts together, and across the Nation join hands The road is laid out before us, it 's a pattern fi'om the past To help us challenge the Future, and celebrate the Past.
