-17- LEE FUENISHINGS continued 5 The two bedroom suites belonged through the Lee families. One of the old bedsteade shows four kinds of lumber. These were all hand--made from the local lumber. In the main bedroom are red, green and blue woven coverlets given by the family and are of early American design. In the other bedroom is a red and white wool ooverlet. It is dated 1846 and has the name of a Lee relative; Abigail Pettit woven in the corner. This had been used as a mattress cover; ; 25 but is in splendid condition. The bedrooms have tall narrow windows.
