- In 1962 Troy Women's Institute branch members purchased this local two room schoolhouse (built in 1878) as a WI hall for community events. Renovations have occurred with the help of community members, Lottario, and a Trillium Grant.
In 1995, a historical plaque was placed on the outside wall on the right of the front entrance door to designate the exterior of the WI hall for its architectural value in this area.
The Troy/Lynden WI members meet in Troy WI hall the second Tuesday of the month. Why not come by for a visit, we would love to welcome you. - Subject(s)
