ByMARIL SWAN The 'leeed News After a tour of duty in the army in Germany where Rev. Bill Perry met his wife, Hertha, the Perrys have moved around in Canada before ï¬nally settling in Tweed. As Hertha said with a laugh, “I met a woman there who couldn’t abide trees. She Wanted to be able to look out her kitchen window and see to the horizon.†, g __ _ g The ministerial couple wanted to return to Ontario to be near their daughters who live in Enterprise and Mississauga respectively. Rev. Perry took up a ministry in Dundas, Ontario where they stayed for eight years. After negotiating with St. John’s in Tweed, the couple arranged to take up this ministry and are finding the area very 'conducive and friendly. As Rev. Perry noted about his new parish, “They are strong and active and very dedicated.†The Perrys are looking forward to a long stay in Tweed.
