Ethelwyn R. Weese was born near the Carrying Place in 1875, the daughter of Mr. Mrs. Robert W. Dench. She graduated from Trenton High School, and the Toronto Teacher's Training College. She taught school near Trenton, and then for three years, at Victoria in Prince Edward County. She married Norton 8. Weese. lere, with a family of one son and two daughters, the family lived and enjoyed a fine community life, on a fruit and dairy farm, for fortyâ€"five years.
