Rednersville Women’s Institute Facts about Rednersville Women’s lnstiute Branch (for J 999 dispicz'y) a We organized as a branch on January 29th 1909. i We hold our meetings on the 4:11 Thursday of each month but try to meet the needs of our members by varying the times between afternoon and evening. 9 We support the l cal annual Amelias urgh Fair by donating prize money and operate a pre booth as a fundrarsing venture. e We team with Mountain View W.I. to serve evening meals at the annual Prince Edward District Art Craft Show. *2 ach year we enter a display at the Quinte Agriculture Exhibition on the chosen theme. a We correspond with a W .l. pen-pal in England. 9 Our members participate in the yearly Prince Edward Trash Bash. 9 Several of our members are partners in Community On Phone Patrol â€" a proactive neighbourhood watch program. a We planted an English Spiral Oak Tree beside the walkway to the Municipal office in Ameliasburgh. o In cooperation with the museums of Prince Edward we provided quilts for display and quilting demonstrations at Ameliasburgh Museum. 9 We give ongoing upport for community projects and events.
