CHERRY VALLEY_BRANCH DATE OF INCEPTION FEBRUARY 1908 Branch history continued from Tweedsmuir History , Volume one 1991 W.I Member Bessie Dulmage obtained the first Phil Dodds award for Volunteer Service. A tree was planted for every member. W.I. for the past 25 years have given an Allâ€"Round Student Award to a Grade eight pupil from Athol Central School. Emma (Fenemore) Chapman who resides in Cherry Valley with her son Donald and his wife Bhyllis, celebrated her 92nd birthday. She is the last member of the Ed. WilliamsÂ¥amily and the oldest living former President of the Cherry Valley Women's Institute.
