Women have recognized that whatever elevates the home life is a blessing to the Community and in the hands of women lies the making of future homes andlnations. If a woman is to make a success she must have intelligence, enthumasm, energy, grit and a lot of other essentials. It is true there is no place like home, therefore we must add to its comforts, subtract from its annoyances, divide its blessings and multiply its happiness if we would fill 'the place in life that a woman was meant to fill. We must go forth with high purpose in fulfilling life’s service for home and country. We meet to-day as sisters in one great cause for the bettering of home and country. Let “Service” be our motto. When we receive such a welcome as we have listened to to-night from the Viceâ€"President of the Local Council of WomenY We are grateful and we feel assured that We are welcome.
