Canadian 4-H Council President George Klosler lead the gathering of 4- H members, parents and directors with the singing of the 4-H Grace. Chairman Dwight Hargreaves chaired the annual meeting. Iudy Harper-Kukpecz read the secretary report and treasurer Geoff Irmes dis- cussed the treasurer's report. Kim Topp gave the nomination committee report. Thirty projects awards were pre- sented to Russell Brenneman, Anita Brink, Dan Gerber and Chris Ward. The Norman ckout Judging Awards were presented by his parents, Bernice and Russell Dickout. Norman Dickout was very active in the 4-H program as a member, leader and county treasurer. He belonged to the Ingersoll Kiwanis 4-H Dairy Calf Club and enjoyed the judging aspect of the 4--H program. In 1990; Norman Dickout started the countywide battery blitz to raise money for Oxford 4--H. Award winners Association held awards at annual event were novice -- Mathew Lupton of Embro, junior Michael Lupton of Embro, intermediate -- Amanda Topp of Embro, tied for senior Gijs Arts of Thamesford and Kyle MacLeod of Woodstock Arts and MacLeod were top overall and Gijs Arts was a judging team member who represented Ontario 4-H in a competition in Madison Wisconstan Blum of the Mt. Elgin 4-H club was award the Oxford 4-H Volunteer Tribute Award for 2004. A living tribute -- a tree will be planted in the spring in her honour at her chosen location.
