DISCOVERY DAY: Seven members of the Brooksdale, Embro 2 and Kintore 4-H clubs and one future member travelled to the Longwood Road Conservation Area to enjoy a day of 4-H fun with 4-H Discovery Day June 18. Hosted by Region 6 4-H Council, 49 R on 6 members from ages 10 to 12 rotated in groups to various activities. They made personal bandanas, decorate two very largoilnchocolate sheet cakes in the 90 anniversary theme, tried the skills of tie-dying t-shirts, participated in team buil g activities, jud ' g activities and "4-H Go for the Gold" game com lete with the electromc buzzers. There were lots of cheers during 3:: 'Farmer Olym ics" where members came toge er to work as a two teams and partici ated in a variety of relay ames Oxford articipants were Yvonne Aarts, Paul Knoops, Mark Northmore, Simon No ore, Ios Pelders, Kayla chrijver, Ianneie Vanden Nieuwelaar and Hailee Verhoeven.
