SERVICEMEN We are pleased to have a few more pictures of military personâ€" nel to present. As well, one enlisted but was later turned down as being physically unfit for the hardships of military service. It is said he stayed near camp and learned the rudiments of warfare. Then his pals outfitted him in a discarded uniform, smuggled him aboard the trooptrain to the coast and aboard ship to Britain. There he was inducted again into the army. His name is Breslaw (Sam) Vankoughnett, who lived past his 83rd birthday and attended the family reunion in 1981, in Dunchurch. 9
